According to the Ford Authority, the sales of the 2019 Ford Explorer fell by 37 percent in the second quarter 2019, resulting in a total of 35.374 units being sold. It is not surprising that the all-new Ford Explorer has been out and about.
Ford offers a substantial discount to encourage buyers to purchase the remaining Explorers. All 2019 Ford Explorer trims are eligible for a $3,000 cash discount. This includes $2,500 customer cash and $500 selected inventory customer cash discounts.
This limited-time deal is valid only until September 2019. The Explorer Base variant’s starting MSRP (including destination charges) will be $30,000. The Explorer XLT trim will begin at $32,495. The Explorer Platinum trim, which is the most expensive, starts at $52,260.
Compared to the all-new Explorer model, the top-of the-line model can save you up to $7,000 – if you are willing to spend less and get the best model.
However, there is a catch. Only Explorer models arriving at the dealer lots before the sale date will be eligible for the $500 additional inventory discount. The huge discount applies only to cash purchases. If you plan to finance or lease the midsize crossover, Ford Credit Financing offers a 0% APR for 60 month for qualified buyers.
