It is not the most expensive RAV4.
Toyota revealed the 2020 RAV4-TRD Off-Road but left one piece of information uncovered – the pricing. It was obvious that it would cost more than the entry-level model. However, a report from today revealed that the RAV4TRD Off-Road price will be $36,300. This includes the $1,120 destination fee.
The RAV4TRD Off-Road was first unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show earlier this year and takes the Adventure trim but adds many off-road-focused bits inside and outside. The RAV4 RRD has a tuned suspension, tweaked coilsprings, and reconfigured shocks. Bespoke Falken Wildpeak trail tires offer grip and wrap around 18-inch matte black wheels. Standard is all-wheel drive.
Toyota TRD Assault:
The 2020 Toyota RAV4 RRD Off-Road TRD is not the most expensive RAV4. This trim is significantly more expensive than the entry level LE trim, which starts at $26,970. The RAV4 Limited with all-wheel driving is $300 more than the TRD Off-Road. According to Autos Direct, it starts at $36,900. RAV4 Adventure offers a $2225 savings over the rugged RAV4 TRD.
The RAV4 TRD off-road is more than just a set of suspension parts and tires. This trim features a dark front fascia and rear lower fascias. It also has an exclusive two-tone combination – Magnetic Gray Metallic and Ice Edge. Midnight Black, Lunar Rock and other colors can be paired with Ice Edge. Monotone colors include Ruby Flare Pearl and Super White.
Inside, TRD touches continue. You will find unique trim pieces and contrast stitching throughout. TRD logos are on the front headrests, rear cargo mat and all-weather floor mats. The 2.5-liter, 203-horsepower, 151-watt engine produces the power. It’s also available in other trims.
