The Premium Luxury, and Sport trims are standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 237 horsepower (177kilowatts) as well as 258 pound-feet (351 Newton-meters), while being driven through an eight-speed auto. The Premium Luxury grade comes with a 2.7-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 309 horsepower (230 kW) or 348 lbft (472Nm) of torque. The engine can be connected to a 10-speed auto. The 2.7-liter V-Series uses the same engine, but has a stronger tune that produces 325 horsepower (242 kW) as well as 380 lb-ft (515Nm) of torque.
The CT4 comes in all trims with LED lighting, dual climate zones, and active noise cancellation. Premium luxury adds safety tech suites like forward collision alert and front pedestrian braking, safety alarm seat, reflective LED windshield collider alert, rear park assist, and auto-dimming lenses. Sport features more aggressive features such as Brembo brakes or seats with larger bolsters. The V-Series has a grille in Carbon Flash and four trapezoidal exhaust outlets.
Cadillac CT4: Get up to speed
Cadillac claims that Super Cruise will be an option on the CT4 in 2020. It is not yet known what the cost of this option will be. To make driving a bit easier, the system allows semi-autonomous motoring along certain roads.
