If Ford confirms that the V8 version is in production, then this would be the case.
The Ranger Raptor remains a forbidden product for truck-loving Americans. The off-road-ready Ford midsize pickup truck is available in Europe and Asia. It’s also available in the United States. We had the opportunity to get We have one Outside the U.S., the Ranger Raptor was a success in all aspects except one: its four-cylinder biturbo engine. We don’t doubt that the diesel engine is a healthy one and has plenty of power to carry a prestigious nameplate. But, we couldn’t help but think about the possibility of a more powerful engine. A previous report indicated that Ford plans to give the pick-up truck a stronger Coyote engine. This gave some hope to the Ranger Raptor’s longing for a larger mill. It’s the same engine that powers the Mustang’s engine.
However, the previous report is not confirmed at this time. We can only hope Ford is seriously considering giving Ranger Raptor an engine transfer. Tickford continued to experiment with the Ranger Raptor V8. Carsguide reported that the Australian tuning company claimed that the V8 can be supercharged, as it is the same one in the Mustang. A 2.65-liter RoushTVS supercharger, retuned engine, improved air intake and cooling result in a final output of 709 horsepower (529 KiloWatts) & 611 pound-feet (828 Newton meters) of torque.
However, this will all depend on how much demand there is for supercharged Ranger Raptors, and if they are truly worth the investment. All of this is possible if Ford ever makes a V8 Ranger Raptor.
