The 32-year-old German veteran drove alongside Mark Webber for the BMW-powered team, then joined the Munich manufacturer’s new works team.

Heikki Kvalainen and Rubens Barrichello are also linked to Williams for 2010. The Grove-based team is expected to part ways with Nico Rosberg, who is Brawn-bound, as well as his Toyota-backed teammate Kazuki Nakajima.
