Ford offers upgrades such as additional cameras and improved brakes. Also, 21-inch wheels are available with sticky tires.
Ford’s 2019 Edge ST is Ford’s entry into the mid-sized SUV market. It’s now configurable online. This sporty crossover is priced at $42,355 compared to $30,990 for its base trim. The price of the ST is $55,005 if you tick every option box, plus the $995 destination fee.
The Edge ST is equipped with a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that produces 335 horsepower (249 Kilowatts) as well as 380 pound-feet (515 Newton meters) of torque. An eight-speed automatic or all-wheel drive is the only option.
From here, buyers can begin to load up their SUV with additional options. There are six exterior options available, including four free choices: Agate Black (Ford Performance Blue), Magnetic Gray (Magnet gray) and Ingot Silver (along with Ruby Red for $395 or White Platinum for $595). The only upholstery available inside is Ebony perforated leather.
The 401A option package adds high-tech amenities to the ST for $5,585. The package adds voice-activated navigation, rear heated and cool seats, active park assistance, Co-Pilot 360 Assist+ cameras and a front 180-degree camera.
The ST Performance Brake Package, which costs $2,695, allows customers to further refine their SUV. The upgrades include performance pads and front and rear vented brake disks with Colorado Red calipers. The package includes 21-inch gloss black wheels with summer sole tires and a brushless radiator cooling fan.
You can also choose from smaller packages. The $290 Cargo Accessory package includes a cargo mat and rear bumper protector. It also includes a retractable cargo cover. The $495 Cold Weather Package includes a heated steering wheel and windshield wiper deicer. Front and rear floor liners are also included. For $1,995, buyers can add a dual-headrest rear seating entertainment system to their vehicle.
