You can’t have too much, right?
Callaway U.S.A. has a reputation for producing boosted-up versions GM vehicles, especially the Camaro or the Corvette. The Pennsylvania-based tuner isn’t stopping it from working its magic on the massive GM vehicles.
Callaway’s latest offering is the 2020 Callaway TahoeSC560. This is the “stoked-up” version of the full-size Chevrolet SUV. The Callaway Tahoe is powered by a 6.2-liter engine that produces 560 horsepower (480 kiloWatts) as well as 553 pound-feet (553 Newton-meters) of torque.
How? Callaway’s GenThree supercharger gives the SUV a significant boost. The supercharger comes with the TripleCooled intercooler and a Callaway-branded high-flow exhaust system. The 2020 Callaway Tahoe, despite the increased rate, is still compliant with 50 states.
You can add a handling package or Le Mans GT brake package to match the increased power output. Callaway embroidered floor mats and key fobs are standard. There is also an underhood plaque, exterior and interior badges, and key fobs.
You can add cosmetic upgrades to your Callaway Tahoe if the updates don’t look good enough. Callaway-branded 10-spoke wheel/tire kit (22 inches in Black Chrome) and 9-spoke wheels/tire package (20 in Graphite) are included in the updates. Sport interior group, sport steering, and sport pedal packages are also available.
The 2020 Callaway Chevrolet Tahoe is equipped with a 3-year/36,000 mile limited warranty. However, you can also add a 5-year/60,000 mile limited powertrain service contract.
The Callaway standard update is $17,995; that’s a significant investment, but it shouldn’t be a problem if you are looking for a powerful SUV.
