An unofficial Audi concept car features color-changing technology on the body and roof. This imaginative design features a one-piece windshield with a glass roof made from nano-technology material.
Here is pure dreaming at work. Disclaimer: This is not an official Audi design. It is something Audi enthusiasts can appreciate.
Dani Garcia, a Spanish designer, created this concept design study for an imagined Audi A9 model. The A9 is a sedan/saloon coupe that would replace the A8 as Audi’s flagship model. It would directly compete with the Porsche Panamera.
This design is most innovative and far-reaching. It includes a one-piece windshield and glass roof made from nano-technology material. The nano-tech material will be able repair itself in the event of damage, and can be changed color and tint upon request.
Garcia claims that his design was heavily influenced “La Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias”, Garcia’s hometown.
The hybrid drivetrain that powers the A9 will combine a traditional engine with four electric motors in each of its wheels to power it.
The body will have an electronic painting system, just like the roof. This allows the driver to choose the color of their car by pressing a button.
