It tops out at 215 mph.
According to new official figures, the McLaren Artura is capable of traveling at 62 miles an hour (100 km per hour) in 3.0 seconds. It can also cover the quarter-mile in 10.7 secs. Electronically, the maximum speed is 205 mph (330 km/h).McLaren’s M630 twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 is used in the Artura With a 120-degree angle between the cylinder banks. It employs a hot-vee layout which places turbos in the valley. 3D-printed cores are used for the cylinder head as well as the block. The engine weighs 110 pounds (50 kg) less than the previous twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8, and is 7.48 inches (190 mm) shorter. It also measures 8.661 inches (220 mm) wider.
The new engine produces 577 horsepower (430 Kilowatts) as well as 432 pound-feet (585 Newton meters). The engine runs at 8,500 rpm. The electric motor produces 94 horsepower (70 kW) as well as 166 lbft (225 Nm). The system’s total output is 671 HP (500 kW), and 593 Lb-ft (804Nm).
The Artura’s 7.4-kilowatt hour lithium-ion battery is integrated into the floor behind its driver. The supercar can travel up to 18.64 mi (30 km) using electric power. An EVSE socket charges the battery in 2.5 hours and charges it from 0 to 80 percent.
The powerplant sends the output to an 8-speed gearbox. It is now 1.575 inches (40 mm) shorter than it was before. This is partly because there is no reverse gear. The electric motor does the job of backing up Artura.
The Artura is priced at $225,000 in the United States. As an option, there are Performance, TechLux and Vision trims. The hybrid battery comes with a six-year warranty and a five year warranty on the vehicle.
