Porsche published photos and information last week about a number secret projects which never saw production. There were also a few race cars, hypercars and sports cars. Plus, there was a cute all electric bus. The Stuttgart-based company now has a new Porsche-branded product.

Although it’s not a car, it still carries the spirit of the 911 Turbo. Porsche and Puma have launched a limited-edition line of shoes to celebrate the iconic sports car. Each 911 Turbo generation gets a unique shoe model with the appropriate period-specific color.

Porsche and Puma say that shoes were inspired by the “rear wings”, light bars, interiors, and body lines of the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Pedro Mota (VP of Marketing at Porsche of North America), said that it was a thrill to see Porsche’s heritage so seamlessly integrated into the design language used by Puma. It was thrilling to introduce the 911 Turbo’s new generation this summer. Working with Puma has allowed us to share our cars beyond the core enthusiast group.

The Speedcat range takes up more recent water-cooled versions, such as the Type 996 and Type 997 Turbo S.
