Keep it simple and calm.
Advanced RV has a reputation for creating truly personal living spaces with customers. You can do as much customization as you want in a camper van’s limited footprint. KISS was the latest company-owned vehicle. It was built after the company purchased a 170-inch wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter with an extra cab that added 16 inches to its cab. The result is a camper van that Advanced RV calls “Keeps it Simple and Serene”.
An additional 16 inches are used to store the mattress/sofa combo in a cavernous area behind the bed. The camper van has 33 inches of storage space with the sofa pushed to its rear. This is from floor-to ceiling and van’s full width. This is not all. You can also slide the bed/sofa combo forward three feet. This adds even more storage to the camper van.
It allows you to store larger items like skis, lawn furniture, and other camping gear. Advanced RV customers aren’t fond of hanging a bike rack on the back. The KISS has a variety of unique features inside, including a slide-out freezer and pantry, pantry, and shoe closet. The minimalist design is carried through to the kitchen, where there’s a large stainless-steel counter and deep sink. The drawer also houses an induction stovetop burner.
Advanced RV started making its own bathroom medicine cabinets. These include a top-opening cabinet that has inside lighting. This is a better fit than what the company had been installing and buying off-the-shelf units. Advanced RV KISS is a two-wheel-drive Mercedes Sprinter chassis that Advanced modified to have a 2-inch lift kit. This gives it more ground clearance and an improved angle of attack. The KISS lives up to its simplicity.
