It’s not uncommon for shoe companies and automakers to partner with one another. The collaboration often results in special edition sneakers, or even a pair of driving footwear that is inspired by the car.
But Ram trucks are doing something a little different. Stellantis, a legendary Texas bootmaker, teamed up with Stellantis to create a premium, western-infused and handcrafted boot collection. What was the inspiration? The 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition Dare we say: Yee-haw!
Stellantis vice-president of marketing – North America Marissa Hunter said, “We’re thrilled to launch our design partnership with premium boot manufacturer Lucchese. This showcasing once again how Ram Truck brand takes great pride delivering a high quality, craftsmanship in every product delivered customers.”
“This exclusive collection combines these two premium brands and draws inspiration from the Ram Limited Longhorn 10th anniversary Edition’s premium materials.”
According to the release, these boots were made to Ram truck customer’s exact specifications and adorned with the “utmost attention” to detail. There are five total Ram-branded Boots in the collection, including three for men and two for women.
Pre-orders are now possible at the bootmaker’s Website. Ram celebrates the partnership by taking a deep dive into how the boot collection was created and executed on Ram’s Behind The Badge hub. This microsite features a interview with Ryan Nagode (Ram’s chief interior designer) and Trey Gilmore (Lucchese’s director for product development).
The prices for men’s boots range from $745-$2,495 while women’s boots are $695 and $1.395.
