Beijing: Launch of the Eterniti Super-SUV Artemis

This model is a modified Porsche Cayenne that’s essentially a tuner car.

Eterniti Motors is a London-based luxury brand that wants to compete with Bentley and Aston Martin. They used the Bejing Automobile Show to showcase their first vehicle in pre-production form. Eterniti Artemis, the world’s first superSUV, is expected to enter production this summer.

The development process has been very quick since the first announcement in 2011. This is because the model is a tuner car that is based on the Porsche Cayenne. Eterniti Motors did not mention the base model.

The same twin-turbo 4.8-liter engine that powers the Cayenne Turbo produces power, but Eterniti engineers have added some horsepower. Super-SUVs produce 600PS (441kW/591hp), and 750Nm (553lb ft). It can accelerate from 0 to 100kph (0-62mph), before reaching a top speed at 290kph (182mph).
