Lumma Design has provided a preview of the aftermarket package for their second generation BMW X6 X16 (F16).
A wide body kit has been added to the X6’s overhauled model. It features a carbon lower bumper. This material is also used in the side skirts, which have ventilation ducts. Redesigned rear bumper bars include a diffuser that incorporates quad exhaust pipes. A rear spoiler adds downforce to the rear axle. Lumma designed a new hood made from carbon fiber, with a large central air vent.
The xDrive 50i also has the option to upgrade its power. It comes standard with a V8 4.4-liter twin turbo engine that produces 450 PS (330 kW), and 650 Nm (479 lbft). Lumma’s engineers can tune the engine to produce 590 PS (434kW) and 850Nm (627lb-ft.) of torque.
Besides the additional oomph, the Lumma CLR X 6 R can hit a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h) as opposed to the stock car which is electronically-capped at 155 mph (250 km/h).
Additional changes include large 22-inch wheels with Vredestein Ultrac vorti tires (295/30-22 for front and 335/25-22 back), and sport seats with extra side support and built in airbags. Velour floor mats and aluminum pedals are also available.
