Twin-Turbo C7 Corvette Z06 Wins at The Drag Strip

The twin-turbo C7 Corvette Z06 is more powerful than a stock C7 Z06.

Is there any other car that can match this Twin-Turbo C7 Z06 Corvette? Prospeed built this Corvette Z06 and it holds the title for the fastest C7 Corvette Z06 at the drag strip. We have a modified Chevy Camaro ZL1 as well as a turbo LS Honda S2000 to take on the Twin-Turbo C7 Corvette Z06. In stock form, the C7 Corvette Z06 looks impressive. The 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged 6.2 -liter V8 powers the C7 Corvette Z06. It produces 650 horsepower, and 650 lb.ft of torque. The powerful V8 transmits power to the rear wheels using either an 8-speed or 7-speed manual transmission. Although the 1.7-liter Eaton Supercharger on the LT4 is a powerful power booster, some people don’t find it enough.

This video shows the C7 Corvette Z06 with a twin-turbo setup. It has gotten rid of its supercharger. Prospeed tuned the Twin-Turbo C7 Corvette Z06 to make it a powerful drag racing machine capable of beating all other competitors. The final build can produce power levels of approximately 1,300 horsepower (970 Kilowatts), which is more than twice the stock output. The Twin-Turbo C7 Corvette Z06 has an impressive build list. It includes a motor from late-model engine, Prospeed mid-mounted Twin-Turbo setup and RPM TH400 converter. Also, a Motec M1 ProDrag, Fore Innovations fuel systems, and a Penske Suspension set. To put all this power down to the pavement, there’s a drag-radial setup.

We have a Chevy Camaro ZL1 as well as a Honda S2000 to take on the C7 Z06 boosted. The Camaro ZL1 and S2000, much like the Twin-Turbo C7 Corvette Z06, are far from stock. Although the Chevy Camaro ZL1 has a drag shoot on its back, it couldn’t keep pace with the Twin-Turbo C7 Corvette Z06. Although the Honda S2000 was able to get within a few seconds of the LS V8 turbocharged, it could not do the job.
