MINI is promoting its sponsorship of the 2012 Olympics by launching a few new special editions inspired by the host. MINI Baker Street and MINI Bayswater special editions get their names from famous London streets, as well as a variety of extra trimmings.

The Mini Baker Street special edition is first. It takes its name form the famous street that is one of London’s busiest shopping areas. It was originally named after Sherlock Holmes, the fictional detective.

The vehicle features an exclusive Rooftop Gray metallic paint and twin black stripes on its bonnet. It also has a set 16-inch ‘6 Star’ twin-spoke light alloy wheels. Optional body colors include Pepper White and Midnight Black. You can order it in the MINI One, One D or Cooper body colors. Prices start at PS16.365 (OTR), for the base MINI One Baker Street.

The MINI Bayswater special edition was named after the lively area located near Hyde Park, between the fashionable Knightsbridge-Notting Hill areas. This edition is only available to the Cooper, Cooper D and Cooper S models.

The kite blue metallic paint, with blue and gray Sport Strips on the bonnet, and 17-inch light alloy sandblast wheels make it easily recognisable. The MINI Bayswater special edition price starts at PS18.565 (OTR).
