Project Fenix is a Ferrari F50-Inspired Dutch Supercar Design Concept

We pay tribute to the renowned ’90s star.

It was not easy to follow in the footsteps of the Ferrari F40, but it was no less difficult than the F50. The Pininfarina-designed F50 was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company. Ugur Sahin Design (USD), wants to pay tribute to this model with its own anniversary project.

This concept, known as Project Fenix was designed to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Dutch company. This car incorporates styling cues from the F50 into a modern, clean design concept.

The concept had to find a balance between the old and the new. It was a challenge according to USD. However, it still retains the essence of the original design.

The USD Project Fenix includes the F50’s most iconic elements, such as the huge rear wing and transparent engine compartment cover. It is essential that the body has sweeping sidelines running from the front bumper to the rear embellishment in black. The Project Fenix has side lines that connect with the headlights, unlike the F50.

The front and rear fascias are modernized with the addition of air intakes to the hood and quad, but horizontal, taillights. However, if you are familiar with your F50s you will be able to identify the attempt to pay homage to the Prancing Horse, at least in terms design.
