One Ohio dealership offers the attractive package.
Are you looking for a new Mustang model? You might consider stopping by Lebanon, Ohio before you head to your local Ford dealer to pick up a brand new 2018 model. A local Ford dealer is offering a EcoBoost Mustang with 550 horsepower (410 kW) for less than a Mustang GT.
Track states that the new pony car has a Borg-Warner turbocharger and a larger intercooler. A Cobb Accessport was used to flash the ECU and a tune by VMP Performance. The dealer claims it will produce the 550 horsepower (410 kW) mentioned.
The Mustang EcoBoost starts at $26,195. This brings it to $32,995. It does not include the $1,995 EcoBoost Performance Pack, which adds larger wheels, stiffer chassis and additional cooling. The base Mustang GT starts at $33,195.
The buyer can choose from either an automatic or manual Mustang. According to the dealer, the Mustang can run quarter-miles in between 11.2 and 11.7 seconds with a competent driver. The Mustang’s powertrain warranty will be voided if the kit is installed. The upgrade kit is available for Mustang EcoBoost owners at $7,699 with financing options.
Lebanon Ford is, as you may recall, the same dealership that sold a supercharged Mustang with 727 horsepower for only $40,000. It came pre-installed and included a Roush Phase 2 supercharger system, as well as a three-year, 35,000-mile warranty.
Whatever Mustang buyer decides to buy, they both come equipped and priced competitively.
