Brabus has launched a new tuning program to the 2013 Mercedes SL Class.
The exterior can be upgraded with new bumpers, side skirts and trunk spoilers. Customers can also choose from a monoblock wheel and a sports exhaust system. Available in sizes 18-20 inches.
Brabus offers premium leather upholstery and illuminated sill plates to enhance the cabin.
The SL500 (or 550) can come with a 520 PowerXtra CGI power package. This allows the twin-turbo 4.7 liter V8 engine to produce 520 PS (382 kW / 512 hp), and 820 Nm (604 lbft) of torque. This allows the convertible to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 250, 275 or 300 km/h (155, 172, 186 mph).
You can also equip the car with a limited slip differential and a revised suspension (on the SL 350), or a reprogrammed ABC module (Active Body Control), which reduces ride height by approximately 25mm.
