Reddit user Theodoros captured a couple of prototypes for the Acura NSX red Acura NSX in pre-production.
A couple of red Acura NSX pre-production prototypes have been caught on camera by reddit user Theodoros9.
These five photos show an NSX duo in the same paint scheme that the showcar from NAIAS, where Acura revealed the second generation of its production-ready NSX. We only know a few details about the car’s technical specs, as Honda’s premium marque has yet to reveal all the juicy details about their long-awaited supercar.
It does have a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine. This is in addition to three electric motors that are part of the Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system. Acura claims it will be about the same price as the Audi R8 ($115,000.00 in the U.S.). It also promises “zero delay” launch performance.
Acura will begin production this fall, so details should be revealed in the weeks ahead. It is possible that there will be a Type R version and a track package, but it is impossible to predict when.
