Toyota revealed the Mark X at the Tokyo Motor Show. It features V6 engines of 3.5-litre or 2.5-litre power, along with styling and equipment upgrades.
The 2009 Tokyo Motor Show saw the debut of the new Toyota Mark X. The RWD Mark X comes with a 3.5-litre engine V6 and a 2.5-litre engine V6. It has a sporty mesh grille as well as a tri-lense lamps layout for the taillights and headlamps. It is adorned with shades from the 2009 Camry and current Lexus IS, which gives it a stylish, if conservative, design.
Toyota claims that the 2.5-litre engine will reach speeds of 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds. It also returns fuel efficiency figures of 7l/100km (49.2 MPG US).
The equipment includes an HDD navigation system, Radar Cruise Control, Hill-start Assist Control and Map on Demand. Prices start at Y=2.38million (EUR17.594/US$26.080 for the 250G F Package).
