The pair of 3s we see here are very similar to the prototypes shown at the reveal. There are some minor alterations to the cameras and front-end tweaking. But, nothing much has changed between prototype and what we see.
Rear-wheel-drive models will also be available as the first Model 3s. The dual-motor AWD 3s could make it to the hands of their owners before the end of 2017. Elon Musk, Tesla CEO, made some comments about range recently. Musk claims that the Model 3 ‘s maximum battery capacity will be 75 kWh. This pack will give the Model 3 more range than the 238-mile Chevrolet Bolt.
The Model 3’s HUD and central-to-driver speedometer have been the subject of heated debate. The Tesla Model 3 will go into production in July, with volumes expected to follow in September. The Model 3’s pricing details will be made public on or about June 2, which is the date we believe to be the Part 3 reveal.
