A classic Jaguar in LeMans Blue is normally valued at over PS100,000. (EUR115,000). Unfortunately, this car has only 900km on its odometer.

These photos of a Jaguar XJ220 abandoned at the mercy the elements were taken in the Qatari desert. They are heartbreaking for any Jaguar XJ220 fan. Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing developed the XJ220, a mid-engined sportscar. The XJ220 was first produced in 1988 as a concept vehicle and it was discontinued in 1994. There were only 281 of them.
The car’s top speed goal of 220 mph, which it was close to achieving, is the reason for the 220 moniker. Rear-wheel drive was available for the production version. It had a 3.5 liter twin-turbo V6 that produced 542 bhp (476 kW) and 645 Nm (476 Lb-ft). It was quite different from the concept model, which had a 6.2-liter engine producing 500 bhp (370kW) and an all wheel drive system. It held the record for fastest production car, with a top speed at 350 km/h (217 miles).
This car is a classic, and the current models sell for approximately PS100,000. (EUR115,000).
With its faded LeMans blue paint, this car has probably lost a lot its value. Even though it only has 900km on the odometer. Ouch!
Although the circumstances surrounding the abandonment of the supercar are not clear, Phil McGovern’s account can be found at the Jalopnik link.
