It actually has an amazing ejector chair that works.
Our first teaser was received back in June. However, we weren’t aware that it would be a classic HTML5 until a few weeks ago. We are now the serious contender in the all-time cool meters. It is obvious that a vintage Aston Martin is a cool car. James Bond is the embodiment of cool. What can we say about Lego? This “toy” is just as fascinating to adults as it is to children. It’s easy to see why Lego didn’t create this car long ago.
Officially, it’s the Lego Creator Expert James Bond Aston Martin DB5, but once you have assembled all 1,295 pieces, you will be able to make a fairly accurate replica of a classic DB5. This isn’t your average DB5 – Lego has added enough spy gadgetry for Q to be proud. Unfortunately, we don’t have functional oil slicks. This is something we think parents of entrepreneurial children will appreciate. However, the DB5 has revolving numbers plates, hidden machine guns and tire shredders. It also features a rear-window shield that protects against bullets and a fully functional ejector chair.
It is also rich in detail and looks amazing. Under the hood is an inline-six motor. The dash features more James Bond items, including a hidden computer and a telephone. The wheels look great on a DB5 model. Aston Martin logos are front and back, as well as the grille.
When complete, it measures 13 inches (34 cm) in length. It looks great, even though it is a little more blocky than a DB5 DB5. The only problem is that there is no 007, which can be easily fixed with a Lego man in a suit.
The new Lego set will go on sale August 1st. Prices start at $149.99 in America and PS129.99 for the UK.
