These options are slightly more expensive than the equivalent Macan GTS.

It seems like yesterday that Porsche revealed the eighth-generation 911 at the ongoing 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Yet, you’ll be surprised to see the configurator available on the U.S. website. The Carrera S or the all-wheel-drive Carrera 4S are available. You’ll need to add $1,050 for shipping, processing and handling fees.

We went crazy with the configurator, and we got the most expensive 2020 911 Carrera 4S that money can buy. Final price? This would be $192,900. Let’s now see how that sum was calculated after we added $71,250 in options and a little more then a $68,900 Macan GTS.

Porsche will charge an extra $3270 for this beautiful Miami Blue paint. The 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels will cost you an additional $2630. Although we know that some people don’t like rear wipers on a Porsche, we decided to add them for $370.

It’s a bargain compared to the more expensive options for the Carrera 4S, such as the Burmester sound system at $3,980, 18-way sports seats at $3,470, and the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control at $3,170. The protection film costs $2,760, and the LED adaptive matrix headlights cost $2,000 each. For an additional $2770, you can get a front bumper lift system. Rear-axle steering? This would be approximately $2,090.

You might consider adding “Night Vision Assist” to your new 911, if you plan on driving it a lot after sunset. This will increase the cost by $2,540. The carbon fiber illuminated sill guards, priced at $1,280, can be added to the subtle carbon fiber interior trim, which adds $2,000.

Add all of the options together and you’ll get $192,000. You can also order accessories such as the $7033 20-inch winter wheels, $774 snow chains and a $6323 luggage set. The 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is $209,883 with all accessories, which is more than the previous 911 Turbo S Cabriolet ($203,000).

This is “only” the Carrera 4S so you can imagine that hotter versions of the 992 will cost even more. It’s time to win the lottery…
