The Mercedes C-Class Cabrio has been spotted by our spies on numerous occasions. However, new information is beginning to emerge about this C-Class Coupe.
According to Auto Motor und Sport the two-door model will debut next December. It will have a more aggressive design that will make it stand out from the sedan. It is expected that the model will measure 4690mm in length and will be slightly longer and wider than its predecessor.
The sedan’s engine options will likely be carried over from the sedan. This includes a turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder that produces 241 bhp (179.kW) and 229-lb-ft (313 Nm) respectively, as well as a twinturbo 3.0-liter V6 that produces 329 bhp (245kW) and 354-lb-ft (479Nm) of torque. A new AMG model is planned for 2016. It will be powered by a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 engine. This should produce 469 bhp (353 kW) & 479 lbft (650 Nm), as well as 503 and 516 horsepower (375 kW), and 700 Nm (700 Nm) respectively.
