Twelve images of the Infiniti EMERG–E electric sports car concept were unceremoniously released to the Internet today ahead of its official announcement.
Unceremoniously, twelve photos of the Infiniti electric sportscar concept were leaked today to the Internet ahead of its official announcement. Although Infiniti will be unhappy about this, the expected release of the concept car is scheduled for any day now, just one week before its official debut at Geneva Motor Show.
Infiniti has been very thorough in their teaser campaign. They released partial closeups of the car and hidden images in boring interview video. The most recent discovery of patent office design drawings gave us our first glimpse at the whole vehicle. We didn’t have long to wait to see the vehicle from high-resolution multiple angles. The patent images weren’t very pleasing.
The EMERG-E images do not contain any new information. However, Infiniti already confirmed that it is an electric-powered “uncompromising” sportscar with range-extended capabilities. It has a 1.2-liter engine located mid-ship for optimal weight distribution. Infiniti stresses that the EMERG–E will be the brand’s first car to have both a range-extended drivetrain and “vivid performance” without generating any emissions.
We now know the EMERG-E’s appearance, and it is stunning. The details will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, March 6.
