Nissan UK has revealed the facelift Qashqai, which will be available in spring 2010. There were many changes to the exterior, interior, and suspension.
In spring 2010, the UK will receive a refreshed Nissan Qashqai. The changes have been made not only outside but also under the skin. The minimum price for the 1.6-litre Visia manual will be PS15.395 and the Tekna2.0 dCi automatic will go up to PS25.745 and PS26.845 respectively for the Qashqai+2 Tekna2.0 dCi auto.
Exterior modifications include a new bumper, revised grille and upgraded headlights. The Qashqai+2’s front end has the same design elements as the Qashqai+2. Magnetic Red and Mineral Grey have been added to the Qashqai+2. Rear lights remain largely unchanged, but the lenses are now transparent. LED technology is used for brake and taillights. Two additional alloy wheels measuring 16-inch & 17-inch were also added. For better handling and ride quality, the suspension has been tuned further.
Nissan has redesigned the interior dials, giving them more clarity. The LCD screen, which is white, displays a lot of information, including time, cruise control, average fuel usage, speed limiter, and cruise control. The storage space was increased to include a cubby hole at base of central cluster. Two-wheel drive models have plastic card slots, while AWD models have the ALL MODE selector.
Unspecified weight reductions and aerodynamic improvements were made to help the 1.5 dCi model reduce its C02 emissions, which range from 137 up to 129g/km.
