Meet the 3 Series BMW enthusiast you will never forget.
The first production cars were made in December 1981. The actual mass production began in the following year. In 1994, the last examples of the assemly lines were rolled. There were 2,339,520 units manufactured.
The 3 Series was the entry level model for Bavaria in 1982. The E30 is an example of entry-level, which does not necessarily mean that it is expensive or mid-range. It was so balanced in every way that it should make most modern cars ashamed. Literally.
The E30 model was the first to offer a station wagon for 3 Series. It was also introduced in 1987 with the major facelift. The platform for the E30 was also used to build the first M3. It was powered by a four-cylinder gasoline engine of high revving with 235 horsepower (175kW).
The E30 had a variety of motors. It was available with four- and six-cylinder gasolines and two six-cylinder diesels. Power for the entire family ranged from 84 horsepower (63 kW), to 235 horsepower (175 kW).
The 3 Series E30 is loved by many drivers for so many reasons. This is actually the beauty of the car. You can use the E30 as a daily driver, drift platform or future museum exhibit. The E30 could be everything.
We would love to see this video commercial for modern cars. This is a promotional video that highlights the testing and development of the car’s capabilities. It also features footage from the factory and on the test tracks as well as from curvy, shiny roads. It has everything we could ever want.
