AutoCamp – Glamp in Style In A Chic Airstream

Three glamping spots in California are available to boutique travelers.

Glamping is a better alternative to camping. Glamping, a combination of the terms ‘glamourous camping’ and ‘glamourous camping’, is the best way for you to enjoy the thrills of camping without having to deal with the hassles involved in pitching a tent, setting up a fire, or sleeping on hard ground.

Glamping can be done from your own ‘glamper’ (glamorous camping vehicle), but those who want to experience the joys of glamping can stay at a glamping site like AutoCamp.

Customers can pay a daily fee at AutoCamp to camp in one of three California campgrounds (or Glampgrounds), one in Santa Barbara, one in Guerneville and one just outside Yosemite National Park.

No matter where you are located, each AutoCamp site has a variety of pre-erected tents as well as custom Airstream Trailers for customers. The Yosemite site will have 80 of the former. These trailers are custom-made. The aluminum-sided campers were made for AutoCamp and are best compared with the more than 30-foot Classic model. It starts at $149,900.

AutoCamp’s Airstreams offer guests all the comforts of home including a flat-screen TV, a queen-size mattress, a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a walk in shower. A cursory look at the rates of AutoCamp shows that depending on where you are and when you go, it can cost anywhere from $130 to $300 per night.

AutoCamp’s tents are a great option for those who want to save money, but still enjoy the luxury of luxury. AutoCamp tent guests will need to use the community bathroom. Although the AutoCamp communal spaces are beautiful and well-maintained, we would personally pay more for the private bathroom and the coolness of staying in an Airstream trailer for a night or more.
