The price is affordable because there are few options.
Hyundai introduced the 2020 Hyundai Site last year to expand its range of crossovers. This new crossover is the opposite to the Hyundai Palisade and has a smaller footprint and a lower price. The Venue is available now at U.S. dealers, with the most expensive model costing $23,270.
There are three options for the Venue: SEL, SE, and Denim. The SEL is less expensive than the Denim To Start at $19,250 versus $22,050, but the Denim has no options. Its final price is $23,170. This includes the $1120 destination fee. There are two options for the SEL: Premium or Convenience. These packages cost $1,750 and $1.150, respectively. Add these and the destination fee, and you’ll find that the SEL trim costs $100 more than the Denim.
The Venue SEL features 15-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, rear disc brakes, and many other features. Convenience Package includes a power sunroof and sliding armrest storage boxes, leather-wrapped steering wheels and shift levers, blind-spot collision warning and traffic collision warning. Premium Package, which is more expensive, includes heated front seats, side mirrors and LED headlights, led taillights and daytime running lights, 17 inch wheels, a proximity key with push button start, Hyundai’s Blue Link connected vehicle system, and an 8-inch touchscreen navigation.
The 1.6-liter four cylinder engine produces 121 horsepower (90 Kilowatts) as well as 113 pound-feet (153 Newton meters) of torque. Through a continuously variable transmission, power is transferred to the front wheels. The Venue SEL comes in seven exterior colors: Black Noir, Steller Silver and Scarlet Red.
Every trim level of the Venue comes with Hyundais SmartSense standard safety technology. Forward collision-avoidance assistance with pedestrian detection, high beam assist, lane keep assist, driver attention warning and lane keep assist are all included. The 2020 Hyundai Venue is now available.
