Clothes in New Renderings
These virtual drawings will make it easier to wait for the debut of this performance SUV.
We had the opportunity to view the new BMW X5M testing at the Nurburgring. The prototype looked very close to the final production form. The debut of the new BMW X5 M will not be until later in the year, but Kolesa.ru has a new rendering that makes it look very close to its final production form.
Update:
The virtual drawing simply removes the mask of the test car and replaces it with production clothes. It’s easy to imagine the range-topping X5 in this virtual drawing, given that the non-M version of the vehicle is quite aggressive in certain design aspects.
The front fascia will see the most significant changes. It will get larger air intakes and carbon fiber accents. There will also be additional diffusers in its lower section. The SUV’s powerful rear diffuser features a quad exhaust system and a massive diffuser.
The new X5M will be powered by an updated BMW version of its familiar twin-turbo V8. This vehicle is known for its dynamic capabilities. It will produce 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts) as well as 553 pound-feet (775 Newton-meters) of torque. This is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic or an xDrive all wheel-drive system.
BMW also offers a Competition model with 617 horsepower (460 kW) for those who want more power. The peak torque will likely not change, but it will be available at a wider rpm range. This will allow the X5 to accelerate in corners even faster. The X5 M’s “standard” version could have stiffer engine mounts, a lowered suspension, stiffer sway bars, and upgraded dampers.
