Peugeot’s Urban Crossover Concept was displayed this week in Beijing. They forgot (or did not mention) that it is a preview for a crossover version of the Peugeot 208 compact hatchback.
According to Automotive News Europe the crossover will be the hottest compact SUV segment in Europe and Asia when it goes on the market.
The vehicle will likely be named 2008, just below the Peugeot 3008 crossover, following the MPV and SUV nomenclature.
The Urban Crossover Concept will make its European debut at Paris Motor Show in September. A production version is expected to debut in 2013.
