Ford Evos is Dissected in Walkaround Video

This is not possible for China alone!

Ford was a surprise at the Auto Shanghai 2021, with the debut of Evos. It’s an SUV/ sedan/ coupe mashup that features a unique design language and some very cool features. The vehicle was created in collaboration between Ford’s Chinese-Australian teams and the People’s Republic’s engineers and designers.

Ford’s Shanghai boot actually had a 1st Edition car. It has cool orange accents both inside and outside, and all the bells & whistles. We thought that the official photos did not provide enough information so we created a walkaround video to fill in the gaps. This page’s video is courtesy of Wheelsboy on YouTube.

Ford Evos is Dissected in Walkaround Video

We were most interested in a few things. It looks great from all angles. We are disappointed that the United States will not be able to get it. Many of the commentators in the video noted that it is a shame that one Ford’s most innovative designs in years will be kept for China. It’s a great idea, and we hope it comes to the US (and Europe) with a different name.

The Evos cabin has plenty of space for all passengers. The front console has a simple but strong design. The massive screens that dominate the dashboard are completely different to anything we have seen from Ford in recent times.

The legroom in the back is the thing that surprised us the most. The driver’s seat is in the right position for someone approximately 6’1″ (1.85m) tall. There is so much space at back it’s almost amazing. The video below shows it all, so take a look at the video.
