Lamborghini Urus with 840 Horsepower hits 204 MPH on The Autobahn

Although SUVs are very heavy, they can still be extremely fast.

Lamborghini claims that the Urus is more than an SUV. It has also built the first Super Sport Utility Vehicle. The specs sheet will convince you that it isn’t your average minivan. It’s the LM002’s spiritual predecessor, which offers sports car performance in an easier package. Although the Lambo is family-friendly, it doesn’t come with a V10 or a V12 engine. However, its V8 packs plenty power, especially if the tuner tweaks it to a 4.0-liter unit.

YouTuber AutoTopNL made a name for driving all kinds of cars on the Autobahn. He was able to get behind the wheel in a modified Urus. We don’t know much about the engine changes, but we do know that the eight-cylinder twin turbo mill produces a meaty 810 hp and 190 more raging Bulls than it did when it left Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Although the video is only 2:45 minutes in length, the best part of the video shows the Urus pushing the limits, sucking gasoline like there was no tomorrow, while achieving speeds comparable to supercars not too many years ago. Although hitting 186 mph (300 km/h), is a simple task, aero slowly takes over and the Lambo’s SUV shape doesn’t do it any favors.

Although it took some time, the Rambo Lambo of 2020s reached 204 mph (329 km/h), based on the digital speedometer. A GPS-based smartphone app gives a more precise reading of the Super SUV’s speed at 195 mph (314km/h). This is still quite impressive considering the vehicle’s massive weight of 4,844 pounds (2.197 kilograms).

Lamborghini is currently working on a mid-cycle redesign for the Urus. This will bring a more powerful and quicker configuration of the SUV to replace the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT and keep it at the top. The plug-in hybrid configuration will also be available, adding weight.
