Heilmer also wants to eliminate leather from Minis. The seat fabric is made entirely of reclaimed materials and the lining beneath it is 70% recycled.
Heilmer also gave some details on the next generation Minis. Heilmer stated that the overall goal was to keep the Minis small and bring joy to the driver. Performance is also important.
Heilmer stated that he believes there will be an emotional connection for John Cooper Works hardcore fans, so that they can continue to offer the John Cooper Works pinnacle products purely for driving pleasure.
