According to recent rumors, Audi is preparing to launch their RS4 and, if the reports are true, it will only be offered as an Avant model. Jon Sibal has created a rendering of the final model to help you visualize what it might look like.
This design features a RS-inspired front end with a mesh grille and set of 20 inch tires, wide fenders, and blacked out window trims.
The model will be powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine producing around 450 PS (331kW/ 444 HP) and 430 Nm (317lb-ft). The system will also include the Seven-speed Stronic transmission and the Quattro all wheel-drive system.
It should allow the RS4 Avant 0-100kph (0-62mph), in less than 5 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed at 155 mph (253kph).
It has been suggested that a third quarter launch is possible, which would indicate that we should not be too far away from an official debut. It is very likely that it will be a contender due to the Geneva Motor Show being just around the corner. However, it remains to see if it would debut production-ready or as a preproduction concept.
