Nissan has released a new video promotion for the 2013 Pathfinder.
The production model was recently previewed in concept form. It was also tested in Idaho, Wyoming, and Colorado. Engineers took the crossover off-road through creeks and snowy terrain as part of the testing process.
Adam O’Shaughnessy Senior Product Planner says that the vehicle performed very well off-road, despite being “a departure” from the Pathfinder.
We have reported that the 2013 Pathfinder will launch this fall. It rides on unibody architecture. A V6 engine, likely to displacement 3.5-liters, will provide power. It is linked to a continuously variable transmission. This will make the model one of the most fuel-efficient seven-passenger vehicles available.
