Shelby American has revealed their Super Snake package to the Ford Mustang GT500 2013. It boasts a supercharged V8 engine of up to 850 horsepower (634 kW/ 862 PS)
Shelby American has revealed their Super Snake package to the 2013 Ford Mustang GT500.
The Barrett-Jackson collector car sale in Las Vegas will feature the car’s fiberglass hood, Borla exhaust, and 20-inch alloy wheels with high performance tires. The car features a sport-tuned suspension and Wilwood brakes, as well as an upgraded cooling system. You can add an optional 13-inch wide rear wheel and tire package to the model. This package was used on the Carroll Shelby Tribute Car, which debuted at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Interior changes are very limited, but include floor mats and embroidered headrests.
The entry-level model features a supercharged 5.8 liter V8 engine with 662 horsepower (494 kW/671 PS) and 631 Lb-ft (855Nm) of torque. The engine can also be fitted with a Whipple/Kenne Bell supercharger, which produces a stunning 850 horsepower (634 kW/ 862 PS).
The production will be limited to 500 units. Pricing starts at $28,995 per package. The high-performance version costs $39,995 and is a major wallet buster.
