Before an official reveal online, the first images of the 2014 BMW M3 & M4 have been released.
The bold new M3 Sedan features a bold front fascia featuring black kidney grilles, beefy dual front intakes, and a redesigned power dome hood. Official images confirm rumors about a carbon fibre roof. Other highlights include aerodynamic exterior mirrors, twin five-spoke grey alloy wheels and gold brake calipers. The M3’s rear bumper features a new diffuser and familiar quad exhaust arrangement.
The M4 Coupe closely resembles the concept that was shown earlier in the year at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The same color scheme is used with the matching brake calipers, and it also features a carbon-fiber roof. The coupe is a little more sleek than its four-door sibling, but the interior will remain virtually unchanged on both.
The BMW M3 Sedan/M4 Coupe 2014 will be powered by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-six TwinPower Turbo motor that produces around 430 HP (369 kw) as well as more than 500 Nm (369lb-ft.) The M3 Sedan will have a curb weight less than 3,306 lbs (1.500 kg), and it will be 25 percent more economically than its predecessor.
