The performance variant could be available by next month.
From its original elegant design, the Hyundai Sonata is now a modern vehicle. It was 10 years ago that I first fell in love with the Sonata. Although its design is simple with straight lines and a few chrome touches, it appeals to more mature car lovers. Or maybe I was in an age denial crisis.
Ten years later, Hyundai presents us with a Sonata far removed from its former self. The design is a reflection of the marque’s “sensuous sportsiness” styling.
According to , local sources claim that the Sonata N-Line debut will take place by mid-May. In less than a month we will see if this rendering is true for the official version.
Thanks to the confirmation, we have lots of information about Sonata N-Line. The engine will be powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four cylinder, producing 290 horsepower (216 Kilowatts), and 310 pound-feet. This new mill will be paired up with the eight-speed, wet dual-clutch transmission that was recently revealed in the 2020 Veloster N.
We don’t want to tell you that you can’t get a N-spec Sonata. But Hyundai has said that they won’t make one.
