Is Ready For Adventures [UPDATE]
To make the truck even more capable overlanding-ready, a number of upgrades are made to it.

American Expedition Vehicles is an expert in the Chevy ZR2 Bison modification. They have upgraded the pickup truck with tons of goodies . AEV took the Overland Expo West in Arizona to the next level by making this versatile overlander a workhorse with a tray bed conversion, and other bits.
There are many modifications that can be made to your vehicle, including fender flares with exposed bolts and new bumpers. AEV The truck’s standard suspension geometry is not affected by the 35-inch tires. Also, the lift height has not changed. It does come with a GMPP leveling system, but it was only installed to remove some rake from the Bison’s front. Another change is the GMPP steel driveshaft. Additional modifications will be made in the near-future, but they won’t involve lifting the suspension.
AEV says this prototype is only for testing purposes and that it doesn’t know when or how much it will sell the bumpers and fender flares. It is possible to make changes to the design for the production-spec package. This project was designed to gauge consumer interest in a production version of the vehicle and to demonstrate a prototype with high-clearance flared fender flares.
From tomorrow through May 19, the tricked-out Bison will go on display at Overland Expo West, Arizona. AEV traveled to Mexico last week with a group of modified vehicles to conduct a three-day expedition in search of new products. A small fleet included the ZR2 and AEV mentioned that the truck performed flawlessly.
