A recent report claims that the Alfa Romeo 169 is a four-door coupe equipped with a twin-turbo V8 motor.

The upcoming Alfa Romeo 169 is starting to get some new details.

The 169 is a successor of the 166. It will be based on the LX platform that currently supports the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and a href=”http://worldcarfans.com/109120223336/alfa-romeo-giulietta-revealed”>Giulietta/a>. The 169 will be a four-door coupe with a variety of design elements taken from the Giulietta , Mito and 8C Competition.

There will be a variety of diesel and petrol engines, but the biggest news is the possibility for a twin-turbo V8. Auto Motor und Sport has limited information, but it is expected to displace 3.0-liters of petrol and produce “well above” 400 horsepower (298 kW/ 406 PS).

We don’t know when the 169 will arrive, but it is possible that it will be several years away.
