BBC Topgear is getting ready to welcome the black Stig back? The video shows a man dressed as the black Stig, walking out from the water. This may all be a hoax.
This is a new angle on the Stig story. Promise. Promise. In 2003, black Stig was believed to have been killed in an accident in which he drove off a military aircraft carrier. He then plowed his modified Jaguar into deep blue waters. Then, a video of black Stig walking along a beach towards some men playing football surfaced.
This means that former NASCAR racer Ben Collins is the white Stig, and he has been fired if it turns out to be true and not a hoax. According to reports, anyone who plays the role of the Stig has to sign a confidentiality agreement that states he will not reveal his true identity. If his identity is made public, either by him or any BBC Topgear employees, he will be executed. Perry McCarthy, a former British racing driver, was killed off after revealing that he was the black Stig.
Ben Collins was the strongest candidate to be the current Stig’s identity. One newspaper claimed that Collins was the Stig.
The video clip is not the only thing that comes with it. The video clip is accompanied by a “press release” that reads: “…how did he survive, nobody knows. Many believe that he breathed using the nitrous oxide equipment from the Jag. Others believe he communicated with dolphins to care for him. Is he returning because he senses White Stig’s identity has been exposed?
Are the black Stigs about to take back his spot? You’ll be amazed.
