Extreme off-road racers will be available in two power configurations: a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with 600 horsepower (447 kW), and a TDV6 with 291 horsepower (217 kW).
Bowler Nemesis EXR is the road-going prototype of the Nemesis desert raid vehicle. It will be tested at Race Car Live! Next weekend’s event at Brands Hatch, UK (Saturday 20 November and Sunday 21 November).
The EXR is based on a modified Range Rover Sport. It comes in two power configurations: the first is a supercharged V8 of 600 bhp (447kW), and the second, a TDV6 of 3 liters with 291bhp (217kW). Both models come standard with a 6-speed auto gearbox.
The EXR’s lightweight components include a composite body and chassis spaceframe. The racing SUV’s foundation is a double-wishbone independent suspension with front and rear roll bars.
The Nemesis was originally designed to be a desert racer. Previous iterations of the Nemesis, which had 4.0, 4.2, and 4.4 liter V8s have participated in the World Off Road Rally, and Dakar Rally circuits. The EXR is the company’s first street legal car and will be a major embarrassment to the BMW X6 M Turbo, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and Mercedes ML 63AMG.
