Audi RS has officially returned to America with Don Istook, a veteran racing driver, taking delivery of a 2012 TT-RS.
Although the name might not sound familiar, Istook was the first person to race an Audi Quattro across the United States. Istook stated that he likes his street car to provide some thrills. My new Audi TT-RS gives me that thrill, but also that ‘race car sound’.
has previously reported that the $56,850-TT-RS comes with a turbocharged five-cylinder engine of 2.5-liters producing 355 horsepower (265 kW/ 360 PS) as well as 343 lbft (465 Nm). The engine is coupled to a six speed manual transmission, which allows the coupe to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds.
