Why? Why? Why?
The Ford F-150 has been America’s most popular car. It is estimated that every 35 seconds, one leaves a Ford F-150 forecourt in America. This makes the Ford pickup line more valuable than Nike and Coca-Cola. It’s difficult to find one thing that is unique among the many things available in the world. There are many, but here’s one. Someone thought it would make sense to transplant the face that only a mother can love from the Jaguar S-Type onto the F-150. Why? We don’t know. We don’t know. Why not? Recently, the Ford S-Type-150 thing was listed on Craigslist. The listing shows that the Frankenstein’s monster car is both a 2000 F-150 as well as a 2000 S-Type, so it was not a Jaguar in the era of Ford.
The truck has had the bodywork grafted on from Jaguar. The big cat treatment has been applied to the interior. The custom side exit exhaust is custom, as well as aftermarket wheels, lights, and custom badges in the middle of the grafted grille. New tires and brakes were also installed by the current owner. All Ford’s running gear – the Lincoln Navigator has a 5.4-liter Triton v8 that produces 260 horsepower and 350 lb/ft (475 Nm) in factory trim. However, these numbers may have dropped as the car approaches 20 years of age. The listing does not show that it is perfect. It has some filler work and scrapes, but it runs great.
The price for the sale is $7,000 and the seller will even completely repaint it for an additional $4,000. The listing states that this truck is “one of the most unique custom trucks you’ll find.” “Everywhere I go, people take photos, thumbs up, and ask questions at every stoplight.”
