2008 Peugeot 308

The 2007 IAA Frankfurt will reveal the details. Here are the images that will be released, thanks to the automotive blogging community. Although it may look similar to the Peugeot 307’s facelift, Peugeot assures us that the car is brand new. We can only speculate about the specs of the car until June 5, but here are some rumours. The 308 will arrive in France at dealers by September, and in the rest of Europe about a month later. The 308 will initially be available as a hatchback equipped with a 120-hp 1.6L gasoline engine. Later, a wagon and CC versions will be added. The 308 RC, a turbo-powered 220hp engine with a 2.0-liter turbo, is also expected to arrive in autumn 2008. There will be three versions of diesel engines: 1.6, 2.0, and 2.2-liter Hdi. A diesel-elektro hybrid and an E85-bioethanol variant will also be available.
