It is 10 inches longer than a long-wheelbase S-Class so it has plenty of space for passengers.
The Mercedes-Benz-Benz S-Class isn’t luxurious enough. Now, the company offers the Maybach model to make the sedan even more lavish. The new model will debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show in February and will be available in the United States by the end of 2018.
With a new grille, the Maybach S-Class is different from the regular sedan. It uses vertical slats instead of the traditional horizontal. The vehicle’s lower fascia is accented with metallic trim.
However, the most significant change is in the profile. The Maybach S-Class is 215 inches (5.461 millimeters long) and has a 132.5-inch (3.365.5-mm) wheelbase. The S-Class Sedan is nearly 10 inches longer than the luxurious sedan. This means that the rear seats have a lot more space.
Optional two-tone paint schemes will be available for the Maybach S-Class in nine combinations. The company offers two layers of clear coating to make these colors really shine. Workers sand the paint by hand before applying the final coat.
Maybach S-Class buyers can choose from two powertrains. The S560 4Matic has a turbocharged V8 of 4.0-liters with 463 horsepower (345 Kilowatts) & 516 lb-ft (706 Newton-meters), enough to propel the sedan to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.8 seconds. Customers can choose the S650, which features a turbocharged V12 of 621 horsepower (463 kW) & 738 lbft (1.001 Nm), but the additional grunt reduces the time to reach 60 mph to just 4.6 seconds.
Maybach has created a unique color combination for its elegant sedan: an Armagnac and Champagne mix.
Brown and Black, Savanna Beige Black. The black Nappa leather can also be ordered with gold, platinum, and cooper stitching. The back seats have Executive seats, which provide more ambient lighting than standard S-Class.
