The open-winged bird of prey has an Everose Gold exterior and a wind tunnel-tested body kit.
The Geneva Motor Show will see the public debut of the Hamann Hawk, based on the Mercedes SLS AMG.
The open-winged bird of prey has an Everose Gold exterior and a wind tunnel-tested body kit. The front features a new bumper fascia featuring LED lights and larger air inlets. The carbon fiber hood allows hot air escape, while the fender flairs add 60mm to each side and 70mm to each side. The body kit includes side skirts, rear bumper fascia and diffuser with carbon fiber wing.
The already powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine’s performance is further enhanced by high-performance titanium exhaust manifolds, sports catalysts, and a sports air filter on the intake side. The engine control unit has been remapped to produce 636 PS (628 horsepower / 468kW) instead of the 571 PS (420kW / 563 HP) standard. This allows for a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, and a top speed at 320 km/h (199 MPH).
The coilover kit includes four height-adjustable dampers as well as four progressively wound springs that lower the center gravity by up to thirty millimeters. Hamann’s lightweight forged wheels are 9Jx21 with tires measuring 245/30 ZR 21, at the front, and 12.5Jx21 at the rear.
